This is a small portion of a large soft skills training course created for a client. At the client's request, the primary authoring tool utilized for this project was Vyond, chosen for its robust animation capabilities. To enhance and manipulate visual assets, Canva and PowerPoint were also utilized as supplementary tools. The animated videos created in Vyond were subsequently integrated into Storyline 360 to facilitate interactivity and ensure seamless Learning Management System (LMS) integration.
Creating a narrative in this Vyond training that includes a defined setting and characters, immerses learners in a learning environment that that closely simulates real-life scenarios . This approach engages learners in realistic scenarios and interactions allowing learners to learn and practice networking skills in a in a context that feels relevant and meaningful , therefore increasing retention and buy-in.
Up Scaled Furnishings Instructor Training Course
Tool used: Articulate Storyline
This train-the-trainer course for instructors at a DIY furniture painting studio has been specifically designed to address a key concern identified through polling. The company discovered that participants in painting classes were not acquiring a comprehensive understanding of the furniture refinishing process. To tackle this issue, the module covers the furniture refinishing process in its entirety, encompassing materials and techniques. The objective is to equip instructors with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively guide and instruct class participants, ensuring a more successful and fulfilling learning experience.
By employing tools such as triggers and variables, and incorporating interactive elements like drag and drop, tab and accordion features, and branching scenarios, I ensure enhanced learner comprehension and engagement.

Fire Prevention and Safety Course
Tool used: Articulate Rise
The creation of this course was driven by the need to educate employees in a hospital setting within the medical field on best practices for fire prevention and fire safety. To enhance the learning experience, the course utilizes an avatar named Lorraine, who serves as a guide, directing learners and emphasizing critical information. Interactions such as flip cards and markers have been strategically incorporated throughout the course to foster engagement and promote better retention of the material.
